Using Scoffers

What is Scoffers?

Scoffers helps you discover food & drink offers at restaurants and venues near you in Brighton & Hove. Browse what’s on today and tomorrow, find something nearby, and turn up to enjoy it.

Do I need an account to browse offers?

No. Browsing offers, viewing venue pages, and using the map are completely free and don’t require an account. Accounts are only needed for venue owners who want to list their own offers.

How much does it cost?

Scoffers is free for customers. There’s no charge to browse or to redeem an offer — you simply pay the venue as normal when you enjoy the deal.

Finding offers

How do I find offers near me?

Allow location access when prompted (or tap Update location) and each offer will show how far away the venue is. You can also explore everything visually on the offers map.

What does the "running now" badge mean?

It means the offer is live at the venue right now, based on its schedule. Offers without the badge are still on — just at a different time or on another day. Each offer page shows the exact times.

How up to date are the offers?

The list shows offers for today and tomorrow, ordered by start time, and refreshes continuously — so what you see is what’s currently available.

Redeeming offers

How do I redeem an offer?

Just turn up at the venue during the offer’s times and let them know you found it on Scoffers. Each offer page lists the full details, schedule, and any terms set by the venue — it’s worth a quick read before you go.

Do I need to book?

That’s up to the venue. Some offers may need a booking or have conditions (for example, dine-in only). Check the offer page for any terms, and contact the venue directly if you’re unsure.

An offer says it’s unavailable — why?

The venue may have paused or ended that offer, or its date has passed. Shared links still open so you can see what it was, but it won’t be redeemable. Browse the current offers for what’s live now.

Installing the app

Can I install Scoffers as an app?

Yes — Scoffers is a web app you can add to your home screen. On Android or desktop Chrome, use the install banner or your browser’s install option. On iPhone or iPad, tap the Share button in Safari and choose Add to Home Screen.
