Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 April 2026

This policy explains how Scoffers App (a trading name of Design Superheroes Ltd) uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies on scoffers.app.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work correctly, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.

We also use localStorage — a browser storage mechanism that works similarly to cookies but is not automatically sent to servers with each request. It persists across browser sessions until explicitly cleared.

This policy covers both cookies and localStorage used by Scoffers.

2. The cookies and storage we use

Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the platform to function. The website cannot operate properly without them and they do not require your consent under UK PECR.

Analytics and performance

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the platform is used and how it performs. These tools are designed to be privacy-respecting:

  • They do not set persistent tracking cookies
  • They do not build cross-site user profiles
  • Data collected includes anonymised page view counts, referrer URLs, browser type, device type, and performance timings
  • No personally identifiable information is transmitted to Vercel for analytics purposes

3. Your choices and how to control cookies

Location data

You can clear your stored location at any time using the "Clear location" option shown in the offers page when location is active. You can also deny location access via your browser's permission settings before triggering the location banner.

Browser cookie controls

Most browsers allow you to view, block, and delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking the session cookie will prevent you from logging in.

4. Changes to this policy

We may update this cookie policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when changes were last made. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
